Program Description

Statistics is the discipline of reasoning under uncertainty: designing studies, estimating quantities from samples, testing claims and quantifying how much confidence a result deserves. Probability theory underpins it, and computing makes it practical on real data. Graduates often work in analytics, research, finance, public health, government and quality assurance.
