Program Description

Music therapy uses musical interaction — improvising, playing, singing and listening — to support people's emotional, cognitive, physical and social needs. Training blends musicianship with psychology, human development and clinical understanding, and emphasises the therapeutic relationship. Practitioners commonly work in healthcare, mental health, education, disability and older-adult care settings.
