Program Description

Veterinary medicine is the study of animal health and disease: diagnosis, surgery, medicines and preventive care for companion animals, livestock and wildlife. Anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology are combined with clinical skills and public health. Graduates often work in veterinary practice, animal industries, research and government animal-health services.
