Program Description

Industrial design is the design of manufactured products, balancing form, function, materials, cost and how something feels in the hand. Students sketch, model, prototype and use computer-aided design, testing ideas with users and thinking about manufacture. Graduates work in design consultancies, manufacturers, consumer goods, transport, furniture and technology companies.
