Program Description

Social development studies how communities improve wellbeing — education, health, livelihoods, equality and social protection — and how change is planned, funded and evaluated. Coursework mixes social science with practical tools for working alongside communities and institutions. Graduates often work in development organisations, government programmes, non-profits and research.
