Bachelors Geology

Program Description

Geology reads the Earth as a record: rocks, minerals, fossils and structures that reveal how the planet formed and keeps changing. Field observation and laboratory analysis are used to interpret landscapes, map subsurface layers and assess natural hazards and resources. Graduates often work in energy, mining, groundwater, environmental consulting and geological survey work.
