Program Description

Soil is treated here as a living, physical and chemical system: how it forms, holds water and nutrients, supports plants and stores carbon. The subject mixes fieldwork and laboratory analysis with chemistry, biology and geology. Graduates often work in agriculture and land management, environmental consultancy, contamination assessment, conservation or research.
