Program Description

Choral conducting is the art of drawing a unified sound from a group of singers: gesture and cueing, rehearsal technique, score study, and the shaping of phrasing and text. Ear training, vocal understanding and keyboard skills support the work. Graduates often direct choirs and ensembles, teach, or work in worship and community music.
