CertHE Ancient History and Classical Archaeology

Program Description

Ancient history reconstructs early civilisations from fragmentary evidence: inscriptions, texts, coins, buildings and excavated objects. Students learn to weigh sources against each other and to build careful arguments about societies distant from our own. Graduates often move into heritage, museums, teaching, research, publishing, law and public administration.
