Program Description

Molecular genetics examines genes at the level of DNA and RNA: how genetic information is stored, copied, expressed and regulated, how mutations arise, and how sequences can be read and edited in the laboratory. Bench technique and data analysis are both central. Graduates often enter biomedical research, diagnostics, biotechnology, agriculture and pharmaceuticals.
