Program Description

Sports coaching studies how athletes and teams are developed: skill acquisition, training design, physiology, psychology and the relationships that make coaching work. Practical coaching is usually combined with performance analysis and reflection on ethics and safeguarding. Graduates often work in clubs, schools, community sport, performance programmes and sport development.
