Program Description

Optics is the study of light: how it travels, bends, interferes and interacts with matter, and how lenses, lasers, fibres and imaging systems are designed. Theory is combined with laboratory measurement. Graduates often work in photonics, telecommunications, medical imaging, instrumentation, manufacturing and research.
