Program Description

Systems biology treats the cell and the organism as networks rather than isolated parts, using computation and mathematics to model how genes, proteins and metabolites interact. Students combine laboratory data with programming and statistics. Graduates often work in biomedical research, pharmaceutical development, bioinformatics and data-driven biotechnology.
