Program Description

Virology is the study of viruses — how they replicate, infect hosts, evolve and cause disease, and how vaccines and antivirals counter them. Laboratory work sits alongside immunology, molecular biology and epidemiology. Graduates often work in diagnostic laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotech research, public health agencies or academia.
