PhD Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management

Program Description

Design is about shaping objects, images, spaces and experiences so they work well for the people who use them. Studio practice, sketching, prototyping and critique sit alongside research into users, materials and context. Graduates often work in studios and agencies, in-house creative teams, or independently across many industries.
