BA (Hons) Sociology and Social Policy

Program Description

Policy sociology applies sociological thinking to public policy: how problems come to be defined, whose interests shape decisions, and what happens to communities when programmes are put into practice. Methods include survey and interview research, evaluation and comparative analysis. Graduates often work in government, research institutes, charities and consultancy.
