Program Description

Fisheries management is about keeping fish populations healthy while supporting the people and industries that depend on them. It draws on aquatic ecology, stock assessment, economics and policy, and on the practical business of monitoring catches and setting rules. Graduates often work in fisheries agencies, conservation organisations, consultancy or research.
