Program Description

Music education joins musicianship with the study of how people learn: pedagogy, curriculum, child and adolescent development, assessment, ensemble leading and inclusive teaching. Students keep developing as musicians while practising teaching itself. Graduates teach in schools and community settings, lead choirs and ensembles, work in outreach programmes and teach privately.
