Program Description

Sport psychology examines the mental side of athletic performance and physical activity — motivation, confidence, attention, anxiety, team dynamics and recovery from setbacks. Students study psychological theory and research methods, then apply them to training and competition settings. Graduates often work with athletes and teams, in health and wellbeing programmes, or in research.
