Program Description

Applied arts sit where making meets use: objects, surfaces and images created to function as well as to please the eye. Studio practice with materials and processes is central, alongside drawing, design thinking and the history of craft. Graduates work in craft and product studios, decorative and surface design, restoration, exhibitions and teaching.
