Program Description

Nuclear engineering applies nuclear reactions and radiation to producing energy and to industrial and medical uses. The subject covers reactor physics, heat transfer, materials under radiation, safety analysis, and the handling and disposal of nuclear waste. Graduates often work in power generation, radiation safety, medical or industrial applications, and research.
