Program Description

Dance trains the body as an instrument of expression while studying choreography, technique, and the histories and cultures that shape movement. Practice, rehearsal and critical reflection sit alongside anatomy, safe practice and the study of performance. Graduates often work as performers or choreographers, in teaching, community arts, arts administration and movement-based therapies.
