Program Description

Biomedical engineering applies engineering to medicine and biology, designing devices, imaging systems, prosthetics, biomaterials and the instruments used in diagnosis and treatment. It sits between the laboratory, the clinic and the workshop, so technical rigour and human factors both count. Graduates often work in medical technology, research, hospitals, and clinical or regulatory engineering.
