Program Description

Logic in computer science studies formal reasoning as it applies to programs and machines: proof systems, specification languages, verification, type theory, and what can be computed or decided at all. The work is rigorous and symbolic. Graduates often move into software verification, compiler and language design, security research, and academic computer science.
