Program Description

Climatology studies the climate system — atmosphere, oceans, ice and land surface — and the patterns of temperature, rainfall and circulation that persist over long periods. Students work with observational records, physical theory and computer models of variability and change. Graduates often work in environmental services, forecasting, consultancy, policy and research.
