Program Description

Medieval literature explores the poetry, romance, religious writing and chronicles produced across the medieval period, and the manuscript culture that carried them. Reading is close and historically informed, attentive to older forms of language, to religion, and to how texts survived. Graduates often work in teaching, publishing, libraries and archives, heritage or research.
